This recipe is one of my favorite detoxing soups for the body. I love how simple and fast this soup comes together. Lentils provide the body with much needed fuel especially if you are starting out a new workout regime for the new year. The heat from the ginger and cayenne pepper rev up the metabolism.

Lentils also can help aid in weight loss because of the high fiber content which helps to keep you feeling full longer. The  key vitamins and minerals that lentils provide the body with are potassium, folate, iron, and manganese.

I hope that you try out this recipe today. I know it will soon become one of your favorite soups. For more recipes like this, check out my Refresh-Recharge-Refuel, my Ebook or paperback available on Amazon. This book has 70 healthy recipes for wellness.
